Appointments

To schedule an appointment for any reason, please call our office number 610.578.0155, during regular hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

If you are new to the practice or haven’t been seen recently, please feel free to schedule an appointment so we can become acquainted or reacquainted. Your first visit does not need to be for your annual wellness services.

Wellness Appointments

If you have not scheduled your annual wellness services, you will receive a notification from our office letting you know it is time to schedule your appointment. Since the MDVIP Wellness Program is very extensive, I’ll be completing it in two visits.

The first visit is the Pre-Wellness Program Visit will consist of a lab draw, health assessments and diagnostic tests conducted by Dr. Crowley’s assistant. You will receive information via mail on how to prepare for this visit a week prior to your appointment. About 10 to 14 days later, we will complete your Doctor Wellness Program Visit along with your annual physical, and we’ll review and discuss your lab results, health progress and wellness goals.

Please remember that the number of wellness appointments available each day is limited in order to accommodate patients with routine and urgent medical needs.

Routine Appointments

Please schedule in advance any follow-up appointments that you need.

Urgent Appointments

We are scheduling appointments for the same day or next day when patients have unexpected problems or concerns. Please call as soon as you need to be seen so any illness or problem doesn’t become more complicated.

If you are contemplating coming to the office without an appointment, we request that you call first so we can make sure you’re seen promptly.

We please ask that you call the office first before calling Dr. Crowley’s cell phone during normal business hours. Dr. Crowley has routine patient appointments during those hours and will not be able to give you his immediate attention.

On-Time Appointments

Patients are thrilled that we are running on time. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment so that you can be checked- in.

Cancellation

Please call the office at least four hours prior to your scheduled appointment if you need to cancel.

After Hours

If an urgent medical problem arises or there is a question regarding medication during non-office hours, please do not hesitate to call me on my cell phone.

You may also call our main office number and press 1, this will connect you directly to Dr. Crowely.

If the issue can be addressed the next business day you may also send me a portal message any time through the Athena Patient Portal.

Prescription Refills and Messages

Every attempt will be made to process refill requests and return phone messages the same day they are received. When you are in need of a prescription refill, please call the pharmacy first, and they will contact my office. You may also send a refill requests message in the Athena Patient Portal.

Hospital Admissions

I am using hospitalists at Paoli Hospital and Main Line Health Regional Hospitals. Please call me or have a family member call me if you go to an emergency room or if you are hospitalized so I can advocate for your care.

Payments

All co-pays and deductibles should be paid when you visit the office. For question regarding billing matters please call the office or send a message through the Athena Patient Portal.

Travel

In the event you require urgent medical care when traveling, please remember the following:

  • For all emergencies, always call 911 first, then contact me so I can provide appropriate information to emergency care personnel and help arrange your care with a physician, pharmacy, or hospital in the area.
  • For all non-emergency matters, I should always be called first. If I determine you need to be seen for an urgent matter, I will contact a local physician to arrange for a visit.
  • Regarding fees, you are responsible for standard fees for care when you are traveling. There are no additional fees for my phone consultations.
